In an effort to maximize efficiency, Paul Hastings has plans for its New York City office involving a move to the MetLife Building at 200 Park Ave. in early 2016. The international law firm has signed a 16-year lease with Tishman Speyer for 180,000 square feet at the midtown tower at Grand Central Terminal. The firm will be relocating from its 240,000-square-foot office at 75 E. 55 St., about a half a mile away, where it has been located since 2000.

“We are designing a space that will allow our people to be more mobile and more collaborative,” said Barry Brooks, chair of Paul Hastings‘ New York office. Brooks, a partner in the corporate department, represented his firm on the lease.
