SAN FRANCISCO — O’Melveny & Myers represented GIC Private Ltd. in its joint investment of $700 million into Greenwich, Conn.-based XPO Logistics Inc., the firm announced Friday. GIC Private, also known as the Government of Singapore Investment Corp., is joined by Canada’s Public Sector Pension Investment Board and the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan in the investment, which is expected to settle Sept. 17.
Menlo Park-based partner David Makarechian led the O’Melveny team with Hong Kong-based counsel Nima Amini. Menlo Park-based counsel Ruchun Ji and associate Christopher Brannan aided in the deal.
