It’s one thing to argue your first case before the U.S. Supreme Court. Lindsay Harrison did it at age 30 in a pro bono immigration case. She won, 7-2. Harrison, now a Jenner & Block partner, has carved her practice, especially in appellate work, around representing the major brands of the hospitality industry. This fall, she’ll argue on behalf of Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co. and its parent company Marriott International Inc. in a case that questions the termination of a hotel management agreement and put hundreds of millions of dollars at risk for the companies. Harrison also represents three couples in a challenge to West Virginia’s same-sex marriage ban.

Harrison has previously served as chair of the Amicus Committee of the Women’s Bar Association of the District of Columbia. — Katelyn Polantz
