SAN FRANCISCO — After a short stint as general counsel at San Francisco-based children’s clothier Peek, Aren’t You Curious Inc., Karyn Smith has moved to cloud communications company Twilio Inc. to serve as the company’s first general counsel. According to a January online advertisement for the position, the general counsel role would be the company’s first in-house hire.
Smith could not be reached for comment. She officially left Peek on Aug. 8, according to an auto-reply email at her old address.
