When a Chicago judge needed a special prosecutor for a high-profile case loaded with politics and potential police corruption, he turned to Dan Webb and the white-collar practice at Winston & Strawn.

No surprise there. Webb, a former U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Illinois, brought in his partners Daniel Rubinstein and Stephen Senderowitz and 10 associates to help reinvestigate an old homicide involving the nephew of Chicago’s former mayor, Richard Daley.
