There’s a lot of age discrimination out there in the world of employment, but Christina Stoneburner of Fox Rothschild raises a new question: When is being an older employee actually more desirable for the workplace?

The centurion—Murray Shusterman, age 101—still comes to work every day and was recently profiled by Jeff Gammage in the Philadelphia Inquirer. “What? Retire? Sit in a rocking chair and wait to die?” he asked the Inquirer. “All my life I’ve been active.”
