The attorney for Carl R. Greene, former executive director of the Philadelphia Housing Authority, argued Monday in court that a linguist’s report should be brought into Greene’s defamation case to help the jury understand that newspaper articles can be interpreted in different ways.
The suit is centered on a series of news stories from The Philadelphia Inquirer and Philadelphia Daily News pertaining to Greene’s personal financial affairs and claims of sexual harassment against him, according to the complaint.
