William Nooney, a resident of Missoula, Mont., and a former Montana state lawmaker has been ordered by Helena District Court Judge Mike Menahan to pay $335,000 back to those he defrauded by selling securities without a license, KPAX News reports.
Nooney has also been given a six year deferred sentence, during which time he will be supervised by the Montana Department of Corrections but will not have to spend any time in prison, according to KPAX News.
