It looks like Apple Inc. won’t be the only business on the hook for allowing children to purchase apps without their parents’ consent. We reported back in January that the Cupertino, Calif.-based company settled with the Federal Trade Commission by agreeing to refund customers more than $32 million for accidental application purchases by their children.

Just last week, it came out that Apple general counsel Bruce Sewell threw Google Inc. under the self-driving bus when he sent the FTC a letter claiming the search engine also allows children to make unauthorized app purchases.
