    This article appears to be saying that the most important qualification for a judicial candidate who wishes to sit on the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit is the candidate‘s race, gender, sexual preference, place of residence, etc. This might be true regarding how President Obama approaches judicial vacancies. If it is true, this suggests that Obama cares very little about competence in filling vacancies within our federal judiciary.

    This article seems to approve of such an approach that reeks of a racial spoils system. I would expect this kind of analysis from People Magazine.
