A simple question dogs the Manhattan district attorney's case against former Dewey & LeBoeuf client relations coordinator Zachary Warren: Why?

    What Mr. Warren is missing is a practical understanding of law firms. Since when (and for what) does mid level clerk who makes $90k a year get a $75k annual bonus?

    One can assume that the extra compensation was for not talking to much about what he knew. The calls to receive it mid-year seams like a threat to me.

    The same question applies to Sanders and DiCarmine as well. When executives are paid twice the going rate for their positions and then receive million dollar bonuses on top of that inflated salary there must be a reason. And now we know.
