Morris Manning & Martin chalked up another strong year in 2013, following the 2012 rebound of its real estate practice, a key area for the firm. Gross revenue rose 9.4 percent, to $105 million, while revenue per lawyer increased 5.2 percent, to $710,000, and profits per partner rose 3.4 percent, to $920,000.

Managing partner Louise Wells says that the transactional work increased across all real estate areas: multifamily, industrial, retail and hospitality and even residential, which had been especially hard hit by the recession.
