The Philadelphia Traffic Court case, originally set to go to trial Monday, has been postponed due to the weekend hospitalization of the presiding federal judge.

According to U.S. District Judge Lawrence Stengel of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, who was reassigned to handle the remainder of the case, U.S. District Judge Robert Kelly was hospitalized sometime over the weekend and is currently receiving treatment for an illness. Stengel did not specify the nature of Kelly’s illness or elaborate on his current condition.
