LinkedIn Corp. announced in April that general counsel Erika Rottenberg will leave the company in August. Days earlier, The National Law Journal (an affiliate of Corporate Counsel) had named Rottenberg one of “America’s 50 Outstanding General Counsel.”
In a statement, the 51-year-old lawyer said that she has “decided to take some time off from the day-to-day work that is required from a general counsel” after six years in that role at LinkedIn and 21 years in the profession. Jeff Weiner, LinkedIn’s CEO, expressed his appreciation for her contribution.
