Paul McNulty will leave Baker & McKenzie, the firm announced Friday. The former U.S. deputy attorney general, who led the corporate fraud task force under President George W. Bush, will return to his alma mater Grove City College to be its ninth president.

Since 2007 at Baker, McNulty’s has focused on white-collar litigation and investigations. He chaired the firm’s compliance and investigations and global corporate-compliance steering committees. Washington-based partner Joan Meyer will take over leadership of the compliance and investigations practice group at Baker.
