Fritz explains on News & Insights, the Department of Justice recently issued a final rule increasing the civil monetary penalties a court can impose on a public accommodation (i.e., restaurants, hotels, theaters, hospitals, parks, zoos, private schools, day care centers) in an enforcement action brought by the attorney general under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
