Legal software developer and integrator Intapp Inc. announced Monday the acquisition of The Frayman Group in a move that will help the company broaden its risk management software offerings to law firms.
TFG, who was advised in the deal by financial and strategic advisory firm Marlin and Associates, will operate as an Intapp subsidiary. As a result of the transaction, Intapp will take control of TFG’s patents and software assets, as well as all other intellectual property previously owned by TFG, with the goal of weaving the acquired technology into Intapp’s product line.
