Stepping Off—Thomas Calcagni and Eric Kanefsky, two high-ranking officials in the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office, are leaving to become partners at their own boutique firm with a New York umbilical connection.

Calcagni & Kanefsky, with an office at One Newark Center, will operate as a division of criminal and civil litigation firm Harris, O’Brien, St. Laurent & Chaudhry, the lawyers said Thursday in announcing their move.
