David Barlow rejoins the firm this summer as a partner who will represent life sciences clients. Previously, he was U.S. attorney for Utah. Barlow, who originally joined Sidley in 2000, earned his J.D. from Yale Law School.

Daniel Restrepo joins the firm as special counsel to its business and commercial-transactions practice group. Previously, he was a principal adviser to President Barack Obama on Latin America, the Caribbean and Canada. He earned his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
