Randolph Moss, head of the regulatory and government affairs practice at Wilmer Cuter Pickering Hale and Dorr, is President Barack Obama’s newest nominee to the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.

Moss has spent the bulk of his career in private practice at Wilmer. From 1996 to 2001, he left the firm to serve in the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Legal Counsel, which provides legal advice to the executive branch. He led the office from 2000 until he returned to Wilmer in 2001.
