King & Spalding made a lot of money in 2013, posting significant gains in both revenue and profit for the fifth consecutive year.

The firm broke the $2 million mark in profit per equity partner—the first Atlanta-based Am Law 100 firm to do so. Profit per equity partner increased by $155,000 to $2,140,000. (The firm shed six equity partners, down to 164, and added 19 nonequity partners, up to 166.)
