Sampo IP, a unit of patent acquisition and licensing company Marathon Patent Group, filed suit Monday in Delaware federal court accusing Facebook Inc., Intuit Inc., Amazon.com Inc., LinkedIn Corp. and eBay Inc. of infringing on “communications systems and methods” covered in three Sampo patents.

According to a Marathon release, “The lawsuit alleges that the defendants have infringed, and continue to infringe, the claims of the patents in suit by using the accused communications systems and methods covered by the claims of the asserted patents.”
