Cupertino Electric Inc. is a San Jose-based specialty contractor that designs, constructs, installs and maintains complex electrical systems. Founded 60 years ago, the privately held company has about 1,800 employees. Of those, more than 1,350 are electricians who work in the field.
The company’s 2013 revenues amounted to nearly $700 million. Cupertino Electric is a subcontractor for Levi’s Stadium, under construction in Santa Clara, Calif., where the National Football League’s San Francisco 49ers will move next fall.
