San Francisco — Holland & Knight has boosted its litigation firepower on the West Coast with the addition of seven lawyers in San Francisco and Portland.
John Kern, who represents technology, financial services and healthcare companies, joined the firm’s litigation group as a partner in San Francisco earlier this month. Holland & Knight has also added five litigation partners and one associate focused on ethics, risk management and regulation to its Portland post since Jan. 1. Matthew Vafidis, who leads the West Coast litigation group, said though the firm has been planning to grow in the region for “quite some time.”
