ALBANY – While noting that the word “dago” is a “hurtful and indeed painful” slur to many people, a federal judge has allowed a lawsuit filed against the state for denying business to the “Wandering Dago” food truck to go forward.
Northern District Judge Mae D’Agostino (See Profile) ordered a fuller development of the record in Wandering Dago v. New York State Office of General Services, 1:13-cv-1053, and denied motions by the state defendants to dismiss the claim.
