Following criticism about a lack of diversity, State Bar of Georgia President Charles “Buck” Ruffin has added two new members to a committee charged with searching for a new executive director.
Ruffin’s initial appointment of a 12-member panel drew criticism last week from the bar’s Board of Governors. Board member and Atlanta lawyer Seth Kirschenbaum specifically noted that nine of the panelists were white men.
