Dale Lum, a partner in the San Francisco office of Sidley Austin, has been named the cochair of the board of directors of the California Minority Counsel Program for a two-year term. Lum has served on the Board since 2010, and as the treasurer and member of the executive committee since 2011. He is a 1982 graduate of Columbia University School of Law.

Costa Mesa law firm Greenberg Gross hired five new associates. Daniel Gutenplan, a sixth-year associate, joined from Lavely & Singer. He graduated from UCLA Law School in 2008.
