Farella Braun & Martel added Dirk Mueller as a partner in its renewable energy and clean technologies practice group and real estate and land use department in San Francisco. He advises energy industry clients on project development, acquisition, disposition, financing, contract and real estate matters. He earned his J.D. from UC–Berkeley School of Law in 1993.

Emison Hullverson is adding three trial lawyers to its San Francisco office. Personal injury attorney Miles Cooper, currently with Rouda Feder Tietjen & McGuinn, will be joining as a partner on Jan. 2, 2014. Cooper graduated from University of San Francisco School of Law in 2000. Scott Wechsler, of the Law Offices of Scott Wechsler, will be joining as of counsel on Jan. 2, 2014 as well. He represents injured plaintiffs throughout California, particularly those with third party civil cases who have companion claims in the workers’ compensation system. Wechsler graduated from Cornell University Law School in 1981. Samuel Kim, a former assistant chief counsel with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and a former Marine Corps judge advocate, recently joined the firm as an associate. Kim graduated from Washington University School of Law in 2004.
