Berliner Cohen added Jennifer Leung as an associate in San Jose. As a member of the employment law and litigation group, Leung advises employers in wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation and wage disputes. Prior to joining the firm, she was a litigation associate at Leonidou & Rosin and Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman. She received her J.D. in 2008 from Santa Clara University School of Law.

Cozen O’Connor added associate Philip Berens to its subrogation and recovery department in Los Angeles. He has conducted jury trials and completed a trial advocacy program that was certified by the National Institute of Trial Advocacy. He joined from Early, Maslach and O’Shea. Berens earned his J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law in 2011.
