More than doubling its size, Brooklyn Friends School’s upper school will be moving to 1 MetroTech Center from its current location at 55 Willoughby St. in Brooklyn.
Brooklyn Friends has signed a 20-year lease with Forest City Ratner Companies, a subsidiary of Forest City Enterprises Inc., for nearly 45,000 square feet, covering the first, second and third floors, at the 23-story MetroTech Center building. The upper school, for grades nine through 12, has been at its existing location since the 2004-2005 school year, leasing nearly 20,000 square feet.
