A business mogul once described as former Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez’s “No. 1 enemy” wants to force a company suing him for $72 million to try the case in Curacao.

A fugitive from Venezuela since 2009, multimillionaire Nelson Mezerhane lives in Boca Raton. He fled Venezuela after the government confiscated his bank, Banco Federal. The government also took the controlling interest in Globovision, which was the only Chavez opposition media and a company in which Mezerhane had a substantial stake.
