A&O Asia Capital Markets Head Moving to Milbank
Grandolfo confirmed the move but said a departure date has yet to be set. He advises issuers and investment banks across the region on U.S. debt and equity transactions, and has emerged as a leading advisor on deals originating from India and Southeast Asia in particular.
The U.S.-qualified lawyer has been highly active in the past year on Philippine deals, advising casino operator Travellers International Hotel Group Inc. on its $434 million initial public offering this month and, earlier this year, conglomerate LT Group on a $920 million equity float, the largest ever in the Philippines.
“In Southeast Asia, it’s by far our biggest revenue generator, especially on the capital markets side,” Grandolfo told The Asian Lawyer in a July feature about the booming market. “We have more people involved in Philippines work than any other jurisdiction in Southeast Asia.”
Grandolfo joined Allen & Overy as an associate in 2001 and became a partner in 2007.
