Nixon Peabody: Seth Levy has been named managing partner of the Los Angeles office, succeeding Rick Jones. Jones will continue his practice representing clients in governance and business matters. In addition to his responsibilities as managing partner, Levy will focus on intellectual property protection plus strategy and disputes in the life sciences and health care sectors.

Barnes & Thornburg (Indianapolis): Chad Stover joins the firm’s intellectual property group as partner in the Wilmington, Del., office and will focus on patent, trademark and copyright, and unfair-competition and trade secrets litigation. Previously, Stover was a partner at Novak Druce Connolly Bove + Quigg.
