London's Stone Chambers Opens Singapore Office
London-based Stone Chambers has opened a Singapore office.
The new office will serve as the base for the barristers' chambers as it seeks out work in the Asia Pacific region. Andrew Moran QC will lead Stone Chambers' Singapore team.
In recent years, many U.K. barristers' chambers have set up in Asia in order to tap the growing market for international arbitration expertise in particular. In 2010, both London-based Essex Court Chambers and 20 Essex Street opened Singapore offices. Another barrister's chambers, 4 Pump court, opened in Hong Kong in 2011, and One Essex Court opened in Singapore in 2012.
Stone Chambers' members include six Queen’s Counsels, 19 junior barristers, and four associate lawyers.
