Khaitan Adds Mumbai Disputes Partner
Khaitan & Co. has added a partner to its Mumbai dispute resolution practice.
Sachin Mandlik specializes in litigation and arbitration proceedings involving corporate and constitutional law.
Before joining Khaitan, Mandlik had his own practice. From 2007 to 2008, he was partner at Indian law firm Legasis Partners.
Mandlik has recently been advising on a high-profile case in India, winning a stay order for Ratnakar Shetty, an Indian Cricket Board official fighting a five-year ban from governing activities of the Mumbai Cricket Association. The MCA had imposed the ban after Shetty had suggested some of its officers might have been involved in black-market sales of tickets for matches in what is India’s most popular sport.
Apart from Mumbai, Khaitan also has offices in Bangalore, Kolkata and New Delhi. It currently has around 300 lawyers, including 60 partners after the addition of Mandlik.
