Lawyers from firms including Arnold & Porter; Dechert; Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson; and Sullivan & Cromwell donated thousands of hours of time seeking to block newly passed laws in Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Texas requiring voters to present photo ID at the polls.
