Wilmer Sells Silver Bridge to Florida's Banyan Partners

Becoming the latest member of The Am Law 100 with Boston roots to shed a wealth management arm, Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr announced Tuesday that it has sold its Silver Bridge Advisors unit to Florida's Banyan Partners for an undisclosed sum. The move comes some six months after a four-partner private client group left Wilmer for Choate, Hall & Stewart, and a year to the day after Mintz Levin unloaded its financial advisory affiliate.
