Petraeus Taps W&C for Return to Public Spotlight

Private equity giant KKR & Co. announced Thursday that it has hired retired U.S. Army four-star general and ex-CIA director David Petraeus as chairman of its newly created KKR Global Institute. Petraeus, who left the spy agency in November after acknowledging an extramarital affair, retained high-powered legal talent to advise on his employment agreement with the buyout shop.
