Sidley Austin has recruited an investment funds partner in Singapore.
Han Ming Ho was previously a partner in the Singapore office of Clifford Chance. He specializes in the structuring and formation of funds for private equity groups, hedge funds, venture capital firms and the like. Ho will serve as co-head of Sidley’s Asia practice in the area with Hong Kong partner Effie Vasilopoulos. He is Chicago-based Sidley’s first Singapore-qualified hire.The firm was one of four international firms granted a Qualifying Foreign Law Practice license last month, allowing it to practice Singapore law in certain areas.
