Leading Israeli firms Meitar Liquornik Geva & Leshem Brandwein and Kantor, Elhanani, Tal & Co. have agreed to merge and create a firm with over 200 lawyers, 58 of them partners, according to local business publication Globes.

The deal forms the third-largest firm in Israel, where the liberalization of the country’s legal market is making it an increasingly attractive destination for international firms. Last summer the Israeli finance ministry signed an order allowing foreign firms to operate in the country and form affiliations with local firms.
