The Am Law 100: Firms Ranked by Revenue Per Lawyer

Growth in revenue per lawyer—the most reliable indicator of a firm's overall financial health—slowed to 1.9 percent in 2011, compared to 4.4 percent the previous year. Nearly three-quarters (74) of the Am Law 100 firms reported a gain in revenue per lawyer, compared to 81 in 2010. However, nearly a quarter of the firms (24) had RPLs of at least $1 million, compared with 19 in 2010. Hunton & Williams had the largest growth in RPL with a 12.1 percent gain. Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan saw the biggest decrease at 7.1 percent.
