Fifty-nine am law 100 firms had profits per partner of $1 million or more in 2008, five less than in 2007. Included are newcomers Boies, Schiller – which premiered in third place – and Crowell & Moring. Wachtell still led the pack, with per-partner profits just over $4 million, down 18.9 percent over 2007.
