Baker & McKenzie has boosted its Hong Kong office with the hire of Clifford Chance Hong Kong antitrust head Stephen Crosswell and Linklaters Asia employment head Rowan McKenzie.
Crosswell was most recently a consultant at Clifford Chance. He advises on competition law compliance and disputes, with an emphasis on the telecommunications and media, and energy and infrastructure sectors. In the past two years, Crosswell represented Hong Kong Telecommunications Ltd. before Hong Kong’s Telecommunications (Competition Provisions) Appeal Board on an appeal against Apple Inc.’s blocking of its users’ access to 4G networks. Crosswell joined Clifford Chance three years ago from legacy Herbert Smith, where he was a senior consultant leading the Hong Kong antitrust practice.
