A little more than two years after DLA Piper hired former Linklaters managing partner Tony Angel, the esteemed law firm leader is poised to step down as global cochair of the world's largest firm by gross revenue and head count. During Angel's time at the top of DLA, the legal services giant restructured its U.K. operations and absorbed an Australian alliance partner. Roger Meltzer, the cohead of DLA's Americas arm who will take the leadership helm with Nigel Knowles in 2015, spoke with The Am Law Daily about the succession plan and DLA's future initiatives.
