Another Am Law 100 litigator is jumping into the litigation finance game. Eric Blinderman, a senior international litigation counsel at Proskauer Rose and a Manhattan restaurateur, has been named CEO of Therium Inc., a new U.S. offshoot of U.K. litigation funder Therium Capital Management Ltd.
Therium was founded in 2009 and has U.K. offices in London and Jersey. The company, which raised $300 million in capital last year, said in a statement that the new U.S. outpost will allow it to “greatly expand” its finance offerings in North America.
