A pioneer in the use of artificial intelligence techniques for legal work is leaving her perch at the pinnacle of Big Law.

Last month, Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz counsel Maura Grossman left the firm to open her own electronic discovery law and consulting practice in New York, Maura Grossman Law. She has also been hired as a research professor at the University of Waterloo’s computer science school in Ontario, Canada.
