Litigators of the Week: Douglas Greenswag and Patrick McElhinny of K&L Gates

Thanks to the K&L Gates duo, Carnegie Mellon University won the biggest verdict of 2012—a $1.17 billion verdict in a patent infringement suit against Marvell Technology Group. The verdict, if it stands, will give the school a huge cash infusion, as well as wipe out a year's worth of profit for a major Silicon Valley company.
