Representing the Federal Housing Finance Agency in litigation against big banks over the sale of mortgage-backed securities, Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan and Kasowitz Benson Torres & Friedman have recovered roughly $19 billion in settlements and judgments for the government. And for their efforts, as of mid-July they have received more than $406 million in attorney fees and costs.

Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan has been paid about $329.5 million from the FHFA, and Kasowitz Benson Torres & Friedman, about $77 million.
