Vivia, I attribute Duke cracking the Top Ten (again - not our first rodeo) is to all the column space you have given me over the last year. I am sure Dean Levi will be sending you flowers any day now.

Having practiced law for over 40 years in a big law firm with lawyers from the top, middle and bottom ranked law schools, I honestly must say that these rankings create the most misleading notions I have ever seen. The quality of legal services from lawyers various greatly and does not seem in any way dependent on the law schools from which they come. Some of best lawyers are from the lower end and the worst from the top. I think the whole ranking system is a farce and I wish it would be eliminated. Harry (from very good law schools)
