Yoon & Yang Adds Partner
Korean firm Yoon & Yang has added a partner in Seoul.
Seung-Hwan Park was previously chief executive officer of Korea Environment Corp., a government agency. He will be a part of Yoon & Yang’s legislative and government affairs practice, as well as its energy, natural resources, environment team.
Park had been at KEC, which operates under the Korean Ministry of Environment, since it was first created in 2010. The KEC helps to develop environmental policy and promote eco-friendly development in the country.
Prior to his time at KEC, Park was a partner at Apex Law. Between 2006 and 2008, he was a partner at Seoul Law Firm. Before that, he was a member of Korea’s National Assembly, representing a district in the southern city of Busan. While in office, he also worked as a partner at Busan-based Ahn & Partners.
Yoon & Yang has 297 lawyers, including 111 partners, in offices in Seoul, Tokyo and Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
